George Russell: Finishes fifth at Yas Marina
Russell finished fifth in the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix F1 race at Yas Marina Circuit on Sunday.
Analysis:
Russell looked to be the stronger of the Mercedes drivers for much of the weekend. He reached Q3 and ultimately began the race from sixth on the grid, yet he still lamented having a lack of pace throughout the weekend. The most notable moment of Russell's race came on the final lap, when now former teammate Lewis Hamilton overtook him for P4 with a tremendous lap thanks to fresher tires. It was Russell's worst finish since the Mexican Grand Prix, and he concluded the season sixth in the driver standings.
