Lewis Hamilton: Fast Morning Bahrain Day 2
Hamilton put Ferrari at the top of the timesheets as pre-season testing resumed at the Bahrain International Circuit, setting the pace from former Mercedes team mate George Russell in Thursday's morning session, Formula1.com reports.
Analysis:
The second day was a cool wet morning session with some patches of rain. Hamilton would work on whittling down his lap time and would do just that. The Ferrari veteran would turn in a lap of 1:29.379 of the Sakhir circuit and would comfortably beat out George Russell by four-tenths. It was the best laps of the Bahrain test so far for Hamilton with his new race team.
