Fernando Alonso: Crashes out of Australian GP

Alonso retired on Lap 32 after crashing at Turn 7 of the Australian Grand Prix Formula 1 race at Albert Park Grand Prix Circuit on Sunday.

Analysis:

As projected, Aston Martin had a mediocre car throughout the weekend and Alonso had fluctuating results at every stage. He managed to move from his starting position of 13th on the grid to 10th by Lap 32, however, he clipped some gravel at Turn 7 and was unable to collect his car before making hard contact with the wall. Alonso should be on the periphery of points in the upcoming Chinese Grand Prix.
