Pierre Gasly: Under Weight at Shanghai

Gasly was disqualified and finished 20th in the Chinese Grand Prix F1 race at Shanghai International Circuit on Sunday.

Analysis:

Gasly would overcome starting 16th on the grid and move his way through the field to an apparent P11 and good finish Sunday in Shanghai. However, post-race inspection would discover that his Alpine Renault was underweight and would be disqualified as a result. The unfortunate, 20th-place finish was a disappointing result after a good performance by the veteran Alpine driver.
