Yuki Tsunoda: Getting promotion to Red Bull
Tsunoda will replace Liam Lawson at Red Bull Racing for the Japanese Grand Prix, ESPN.com reports.
Analysis:
Tsunoda was disappointed last December when he was not the one that got the ride at Red Bull Racing after some good seasons at Racing Bulls, the junior team for Red Bull. Now after Lawson had just a horrid start to the season and showed no confidence in being able to drive the car, Tsunoda will get his chance after just two races in 2025. It comes at a good time as well heading to Tsunoda's home grand prix. Lawson will return to Racing Bulls and Red Bull will hope Tsunoda will be able to score consistent points and help Max Verstappen battle the likes of McLaren, Ferrari and Mercedes in the championship.
