Oscar Piastri: Third in Japanese Grand Prix
Piastri finished third in the Japanese Grand Prix Formula 1 race at the Suzuka Circuit on Sunday afternoon.
Analysis:
A P3 start for Piastri would give him a leg up making the podium Sunday afternoon in Japan. He would control the gap back to Charles Leclerc in the opening stint until his lap 20 pitstop. Piastri would rejoin in P9 and begin his drive back forward. The McLaren youngster would get back to P3 by lap 32 and settle in there for the battle until the end. Piastri would give a good challenge to Lando Norris in the closing laps but not catch his teammate. The strong third-place finish was his second podium in the first three events of the season.
