Carlos Sainz Jr.: Remains overshadowed

Sainz finished 14th at the Japanese Grand Prix F1 race at Suzuka Circuit on Sunday.

Analysis:

Sainz was competitive in qualifying, missing out on Q3 by just over one-tenth of a second. However, he dropped to 15th on the starting grid after being found to have impeded Lewis Hamilton during the session. There was minimal passing during the race Sunday, leaving Sainz without points for the second time in three races with Williams. Meanwhile, Alex Albon has tallied points in all three grand prix.
