Oscar Piastri: Leads Second Practice

McLaren driver Piastri topped the timesheets during Friday evening's second practice session for the Bahrain Grand Prix, leading the way from team mate Lando Norris and Mercedes racer George Russell, Formula1.com reports.

Analysis:

This second session would happen during the evening and under the floodlights at the Sakhir circuit. The conditions were much more similar to what will be seen in the grand prix on Sunday. The McLaren's once again flexed their muscles as Piastri would log the best lap of the day at 1:30.505. He was one-and-a-half tenths clear of Norris for the top spot. The young driver looks like a top contender to win Sunday's Bahrain Grand Prix.
