George Russell: Back on Podium in Miami

Russell finished third in the Miami Grand Prix Formula 1 race at the Miami International Autodrome on Sunday afternoon.

Analysis:

The Mercedes veteran would start fifth on the grid and quickly pick up one spot on Lando Norris' first lap error. Russell would eventually give that position back on lap 7 but would stay forward thinking in his racing from that point on. A mid-race caution and safety car would be played perfectly by Russell and his team and he'd move up to P3 by his lap 29 pit stop. He would hold onto that track position although he'd fall well behind both McLarens on the final dash to the finish. It was Russell's fourth podium of the season.
