Esteban Ocon: Late Fade in Miami

Ocon finished 12th in the Miami Grand Prix Formula 1 race at the Miami International Autodrome on Sunday afternoon.

Analysis:

Ocon would start ninth on the grid after a good qualifying effort and would enter the day with expectations of points for his Haas F1 team. However, he would lose an early battle with Yuki Tsunoda and begin his slide backwards. After Ocon's lap 23 pit stop he would rejoin in P16 and face an uphill battle trying drive back inside the points. He would become stalled out behind Isack Hadjar and could only draw within 10-seconds of the Team RB driver by the checkered flag.
