Oliver Bearman: Power Unit Failure

Bearman suffered a power unit failure and finished 19th in the Miami Grand Prix Formula 1 race at the Miami International Autodrome on Sunday afternoon.

Analysis:

The Haas F1 youngster would race up to P12 during the opening stint and would be full of optimism for the remainder of the race. However, his car began to belch smoke and throw flames out the exhaust on lap 27 and would soon come to a stop just off track. Bearman would be the reason for the second virtual safety car of the day and his early retirement would slot him P19 in the Miami Grand Prix.
