Liam Lawson: Failed to Finish in Miami
Lawson retired on lap 36 and finished 17th in the Miami Grand Prix Formula 1 race at the Miami International Autodrome on Sunday afternoon.
Analysis:
Lawson's day would start ominously with contact with Jack Doohan on lap 1. While Doohan's damage was more substantial, Lawson would be able to make his way through a big portion of the race before running into terminal trouble. The young driver would remain well back at the tail end of the field until he would fall a lap down on lap 34. Not much later the team would decide to retire Lawson since his car was wounded and lacking pace.
