Oscar Piastri: Fast Practice 2 in Italy

Piastri finished fastest from McLaren team mate Lando Norris once again in the second free practice session ahead of the Emilia-Romagna Grand Prix, as the session was disrupted by a late red flag after Isack Hadjar span off, Formula1.com reports.

Analysis:

This late afternoon session offered another opportunity for teams to fine tune their cars ahead of Saturday's qualifying session in Imola. Once again, the McLarens would shine and come out on top. Piastri recorded a lap of 1:15293 which was the best of the day. He edged Norris by two-hundredths to claim the top spot. Piastri will be tough to beat Sunday in the Emilia-Romagna GP.
