Gabriel Bortoleto: Finishes 18th at Imola

Bortoleto finished 18th at the Emilia Romagna Grand Prix F1 race at Autodromo Internazionale Enzo e Dino Ferrari on Sunday.

Analysis:

Bortoleto was fortunate to reach Q2 based on the timing of a red flag, but his fortunes reversed on race day. He pitted just moments before a virtual safety car, burying him to the back of the field when his rivals pitted with less of a time penalty. Bortoleto's Kick Sauber unsurprisingly lacked the pace to move up the field, leaving him to finish last among cars remaining on the road.
