Oliver Bearman: Numerous Difficulties in Spain
Bearman finished 17th in the Spanish Grand Prix Formula 1 race at the Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya on Sunday afternoon.
Analysis:
A collision between Liam Lawson and Bearman early in the grand prix would seem to set the tone for the day in this grand prix. The Haas F1 youngster would get in another scrap with Lawson later and have to take the escape road to avoid serious trouble. By the time stewards reviewed the incident, Bearman would be slapped with a 10-second penalty for leaving the track and gaining an advantage. That would drop him from 13th to 17th-place after the checkered flag.
