Max Verstappen: Leads Canadian GP Practice
Verstappen has topped the timesheets during the first practice hour ahead of the Canadian Grand Prix, the Red Bull driver setting the pace from the Williams pair of Alex Albon and Carlos Sainz while Charles Leclerc brought out an early red flag after hitting the barriers, Formula1.com reports.
Analysis:
Leclerc would be the early front-runner in this FP1 at Circuit Gilles Villeneuve. However, the Ferrari star would find the barriers later in the session. That would put Verstappen squarely atop the timing charts with his lap of 1:13.193. The Red Bull Racing star would edge Alex Albon to top this opening session in Canada.
