Esteban Ocon: Earns Points in Canada

Ocon finished ninth in the Canadian Grand Prix Formula 1 race at Circuit Gilles-Villeneuve on Sunday afternoon.

Analysis:

Ocon rebounded well from a poor outing in Barcelona. The veteran Haas F1 driver would qualify a reasonable 14th on the starting grid. Ocon would use a single-stop strategy and race all the way to lap 57 for his only stop of the day. He would pit out of P8 and largely hang onto that track position gained. Over the final 13 laps he'd hold serve and promote one spot at the end with Lando Norris' retirement. Ocon would finish P9 and earn 2 points in Montreal.
