Lando Norris: Tops Practice 2

Norris finished fastest in Free Practice 2 for the British Grand Prix, the McLaren driver besting the Ferraris of Charles Leclerc and Lewis Hamilton, Formula1.com reports.

Analysis:

The Ferraris have shown great speed through both practices Friday at Silverstone. However, it would be Norris who would best them and rise to the top of FP2 at the British road course. He would log a lap of 1:25.816 to beat out Leclerc by two-tenths and Hamilton by three-tenths. McLaren teammate, Oscar Piastri, would be a close P4 in this practice. Norris looks like a strong contender to win Sunday's British Grand Prix.
