Liam Lawson: Collision with Esteban Ocon

Lawson crashed and finished 19th in the British Grand Prix Formula 1 race at the Silverstone Circuit on Sunday afternoon.

Analysis:

The mayhem of lap 1 would collect several drivers. Lawson would bring out the caution flags early after he collided with Esteban Ocon. His Racing Bulls Honda would receive heavy damage from the contact but Lawson would attempt to carry on back to pit road. Lawson would be forced to stop just off track, bringing out the virtual safety car. That would be the end of his day and Lawson would record the DNF in the British Grand Prix.
