Lewis Hamilton: P12 in Hungarian GP
Hamilton finished 12th in the Hungarian Grand Prix Formula 1 race at the Hungaroring circuit on Sunday.
Analysis:
A poor qualifying effort would put Hamilton P12 on the starting grid. He would lose two spots on the opening lap and that would put him in catchup mode the rest of the way. An opening stint on hard tyres and one stop strategy to lap 42 (longer than most) would allow him to climb into P7. However, Hamilton could not hold onto those gains in the second half of the grand prix which was highlighted by a spirited battle with Max Verstappen. The Ferrari star would fall a lap down late and come home P12 in Budapest.
