Pierre Gasly: 10-Second Penalty
Gasly finished 19th in the Hungarian Grand Prix Formula 1 race at the Hungaroring circuit on Sunday.
Analysis:
Gasly would start the race on hard tyres and look to do a long opening stint to make up track position. He would run to lap 31 and pit out of P15 in his one-stop strategy. Gasly would be stuck in backend battles until near the end of the race when he'd make contact with Carlos Sainz and draw the review of the stewards in that battle. He'd lose the spot to Sainz and then be slapped with a 10-second penalty for avoidable contact. That would demote Gasly to P19 after the checkered flag. He'll look to rebound next round out in the Netherlands.
