Oscar Piastri: Wins Dutch GP Pole
Piastri has sealed pole position for the Dutch Grand Prix after beating McLaren team mate Lando Norris in a thrilling battle that played out through to the closing moments of Qualifying, Formula1.com reports.
Analysis:
Piastri flipped the script from the weekend's previous three practices where Norris had led the way. The McLaren youngster set the pace in Q1 and that would set the tone for the entire qualifying session. Piastri would log a lap of 1:08.662 during Q3 and edge Norris to claim pole position at the Zandvoort circuit. It was another front row lockout for McLaren and a sign of things to come in Sunday's Dutch Grand Prix.
