George Russell: Runner-up Finish at Baku
Russell finished second in the Azerbaijan Grand Prix Formula 1 race at the Baku City Circuit on Sunday afternoon.
Analysis:
Russell would battle feeling unwell all weekend while in Azerbaijan, but he'd be undeterred in his mission on Sunday. The Mercedes star would start fifth on the grid and battle hotly in the early laps with Yuki Tsunoda. He would finally clear the Red Bull Racing driver and begin his move forward. A long opening stint and pit stop on lap 39 would allow Russell to secure second-place and he'd hold it from that point on to the finish. It was a great performance for the Mercedes driver and seventh podium of the season.
