Lance Stroll: Five-Place Grid Penalty
Stroll has been hit with a five-place grid penalty for the United States Grand Prix following a collision with the Haas of Esteban Ocon during Saturday's Sprint, Formula1.com reports.
Analysis:
Late in the Sprint Saturday at Circuit of the Americas, Stroll would lock up going into turn 1 attempting to overtake Ocon for position. He would make what the stewards deemed as avoidable contact with the Haas F1 veteran. Stroll has been hit with a five-place grid penalty for Sunday's United States Grand Prix. This setback will hamper any possibility of Stroll getting into the points in Austin.
