Liam Lawson: Just Misses Points
Lawson finished 11th in the United States Grand Prix Formula 1 race at Circuit of the Americas on Sunday afternoon.
Analysis:
Lawson would start P12 on the grid and use medium tyres which was the popular strategy on Sunday. Yuki Tsunoda would rocket past a number of cars in the opening laps, Lawson included. He would slip to P13 as a result. However, Lawson's long opening stint would allow him to race up to 10th-place by his lone pit stop. It would be a three-way battle from there with Fernando Alonso and Lance Stroll. Lawson would hold up well but not be able to fetch points with his eventual P11 finish.
