Charles Leclerc: Leads FP1 in Mexico City
Leclerc finished fastest in Free Practice 1 for the Mexico City Grand Prix, the Ferrari driver heading Kimi Antonelli and Nico Hulkenberg, Formula1.com reports.
Analysis:
A number of junior drivers participated in this opening practice for Mexico City weekend. It would result in a bit different looking list of names on the top of the timing sheets at the end of the hour-long session. Leclerc would post a lap of 1:18.380 of the Mexico circuit to edge Antonelli by just one-tenth. The Ferrari star is fresh off a podium performance in Austin and looking for his first victory of the season this Sunday in Mexico.
