Oliver Bearman: Career-Best Finish
Bearman finished fourth in the Mexico City Grand Prix Formula 1 race at Autodromo Hermanos Rodriguez on Sunday afternoon.
Analysis:
It started with a strong qualifying effort. Bearman made it through to Q3 on Saturday and wound up with a solid ninth-place starting spot on the grid. He would start the race on soft compound tyres and use them to move up to P4 by lap 6. That initial lunge forward would pay huge dividends and Bearman would hang onto that track position after his lap 24 pit stop. Another stop at lap 48 would be afforded by a nice gap back to the Mercedes of George Russell. Down the stretch he'd hold off a hard-charging Oscar Piastri to claim a career-best P4 in Mexico.
