Pato O’Ward: Finishes Top 5 In Arlington
O'Ward finished fifth in Sunday's Java House Grand Prix of Arlington, his third Top 5 of the 2026 NTT IndyCar Series season.
Analysis:
O'Ward has been the portrait of consistency this season, finishing fifth, fourth and now fifth again, making him one of just two drivers with a Top-5 finish in each race. He was the highest-finishing Chevrolet on Sunday. O'Ward is now tied for third in points with Josef Newgarden, with both drivers sitting on 93 points. The IndyCar Series next heads to Birmingham for a race at Barber Motorsports Park, where O'Ward won in 2022, leading 27 of the 90 laps. He was sixth in the race there last season.
