Liam Lawson: Drive forward in Japan
Lawson finished ninth in the Japanese Grand Prix Formula 1 race at the Suzuka Circuit on Sunday.
Analysis:
A tough qualifying effort would line the Racing Bulls youngster up 14th on the starting grid. However, Lawson would be undeterred in driving forward during the Japanese Grand Prix. He would grab a couple spots on the opening lap and use the lap 22 safety car to pit. That would promote Lawson into the Top 10 where he'd race the rest of the way. He would successfully defend against Esteban Ocon down the stretch to earn a strong ninth-place finish at the Suzuka Circuit.
