Analysis:
The Haas F1 veteran started 17th on the grid after a tough qualifying session. Ocon would employ soft tyres for this opening stint on a damp race track. The two stop pit strategy would see him pit on lap 17 for medium tyres and then again on lap 32 for soft tyres once more. Struggles with car balance would lead to several lock ups under braking and a generally slower pace. Ocon would be stuck in the midfield without much opportunity to climb the order.
