Lawson finished fifth in the Monaco Grand Prix Formula 1 race at The Circuit de Monaco on Sunday afternoon.
Analysis:
Lawson got away cleanly on the lights out and despite pre-race car issues, showed good pace throughout this street battle in Monaco. He would run a long opening stint to lap 44 and do good tyre management while fending off Alex Albon. Lawson would promote up the order as a result of some late-race retirements, but he would also fend off teammate, Arvid Lindblad, in the closing laps to secure a career-best tying P5 in Monaco.
