Perez suffered a suspension failure and finished 21st in the Belgian Grand Prix Formula 1 race at the Spa-Francorchamps Circuit on Sunday afternoon.
Analysis:Perez would start strong and make some positions from the lights out. His Cadillac would strike a piece of debris and lose a mirror when George Russell's Mercedes would go off track and slide into the gravel. Perez would stalk Esteban Ocon after the early safety car period ended, but he would suffer a suspension failure on lap 13 and would have to retire his car early. It was a disappointing result for the veteran driver after showing good early-race pace.
