Sebastian Vettel leaving Red Bull Racing at season's end
Four-time world champion Sebastian Vettel is leaving Red Bull racing at the conclusion of the 2014 Formula One season, the team announced Friday night.
Vettel is currently fifth in the driver's standings with 124 points. He's yet to win a race this season, but has eight top-five finishes.
Vettel will be replaced by Daniil Kvyat, 20, from Red Bull's junior program, which graduated Vettel and Daniel Ricciardo.
Horner tells me Vettel only told him last night he was leaving. They didn't speak to other drivers. The ethos is to promote young talent.

Vettel was with Red Bull for six years:
Since joining the team in 2009, Sebastian, together with Infiniti Red Bull Racing, has scored 38 wins, 44 poles and eight World Championships, including four Drivers' titles and four Constructors'. If you include Sebastian's success at Red Bull's second team, Scuderia Toro Rosso, the Red Bull total increases to 39 wins and 45 poles.
