Mercedes captured its first constructors' championship on Sunday after Lewis Hamilton's victory at the Russian Grand Prix.
Mercedes needed just 25 points to win the title, which they received after Hamilton's ninth victory - including his fourth win in a row - in a dominant season for the German team.
Hamilton's win, along with teammate Nico Rosberg finishing second, moved Mercedes to an unassailable 565 points on the season with three races remaining.
Red Bull Racing, which had won the constructors' championship the last four years, trails in second at 342 points. Williams is well back in third at 216 points.
The Formula 1 team title has been awarded annually since 1958.
