Report: Everton's Gueye still wants PSG move
Idrissa Gueye is hoping Paris Saint-Germain will revive their interest in him this summer after Everton blocked a January transfer, according to The Telegraph's Chris Bascombe.
PSG's approach in winter was worth a reported £21 million, falling below what Bascombe believes was a £30-million asking price set by Everton.
Gueye then started the majority of the Toffees' outings for the rest of the season and kept up his good form, apparently attracting interest from Manchester United in April as they sought a replacement for PSG-bound Ander Herrera.
It's believed Gueye is hopeful Everton will let him leave for the French capital on this occasion since Fabian Delph bolstered the club's midfield contingent Monday.
Gueye, 29, is currently with Senegal at the Africa Cup of Nations and isn't expected to report for Everton's preseason drills until at least three weeks after the final. The Lions of Teranga will face Algeria in Friday's clash in Cairo.
