Angel Di Maria prolonged his trophy-laden career with a free transfer to Juventus on Friday.

The Argentine winger, 34, signed a one-year contract with the Italian giants following seven years with Paris Saint-Germain.

"Sprinting down the wing he makes the ball sing, turning defenders inside-out with his lightning speed and turn of foot, elevating the quality level on the left flank to that of pure poetry, enchanting every time he lights up the game with a spell-binding flash of skill," reads Juventus' rather poetic news release.

Since the turn of the decade, Di Maria has produced 131 assists in Europe's top five leagues. Only Lionel Messi (174) and Thomas Muller (149) have more.

Before his time in the French capital, Di Maria collected a league title and two Portuguese League Cups with Benfica and then moved to Real Madrid where he won one La Liga, two Copa del Reys, one Supercopa de Espana, one Champions League, and one UEFA Super Cup.

He spent one season with Manchester United before corralling five Ligue 1 titles, hoisting the Coupe de France five times, and winning the now-defunct Coupe de la Ligue four times at PSG.
