French Cup draw: Marseille, PSG to renew rivalry in round of 16

Paris, Jan 23, 2023 (AFP) - Marseille will take on rivals Paris Saint-Germain in the last 16 of the French Cup after Monday's draw.

In-form Marseille made it eight straight wins with a 1-0 victory over Rennes on Friday to keep alive their hopes of a first French Cup success since 1989.

PSG, winners of six of the last eight editions of the competition, beat sixth-tier club Pays de Cassel 7-0 on Monday.

The next round will also see Lille face Lyon, while holders Nantes visit Ligue 1's bottom club Angers.
