Pelissier out as Auxerre coach after ensuring Ligue 1 survival
Auxerre coach Christophe Pelissier has been dismissed, sources close to the Ligue 1 club said on Friday, after the team narrowly avoided relegation.
Pelissier, 60, had one year remaining on his contract.
He took charge in October 2022 and led the club straight back into the top flight in his first full season after relegation.
After finishing 11th last term, Auxerre only guaranteed their safety on the final day of this season with a win at Lille.
Pelissier previously had spells coaching Amiens and Lorient.
