Motta advises Matuidi to stay at PSG
Paris - Paris Saint-Germain's Thiago Motta advised fellow midfielder Blaise Matuidi not to leave Paris on Friday, after Juventus had expressed interest in the 29-year-old.
"We have a good relationship with Blaise, and if he asks my advice I would definitely recommend that he stays in Paris" said Motta during a press conference.

"If he leaves then that would be a huge loss. Blaise does incredible work for the team with a really positive mentality. We need players like that."
"We've often played as a trio with Marco Verratti, and we the core of the team." added Motta, "If we lost a player like him we'd be losing a lot."

Last week new PSG manager Unai Emery had also expressed his wishes that the influential France midfielder stay at the capital club.
With the addition of Emery's former Sevilla pupil Grzegorz Krychowiak, the defensive midfield position at PSG is now a crowded house, prompting reports speculating Matuidi's desire to leave Parc des Princes.
