5 best goals of the Champions League group stage
Now that the Champions League group stage is over, theScore runs down the top five strikes over the opening 96 matches of this season's competition, with some bonus honourable mentions.
5. Andres Iniesta vs. Celtic
Iniesta finished off a move that had all the hallmarks of a Barcelona side with him stationed in the engine room. One-touch passes and fluid movement was concluded with a devastating hit from the veteran Spaniard in a 7-0 shaming of Celtic.
4. Thomas Meunier vs. FC Basel

Wallop. Meunier, a right-back by trade, scored his only goal for Paris Saint-Germain since moving from Club Brugge last summer by smacking a last-ditch, first-time volley to ensure his new employer's progression to the last-16.
3. Thomas Delaney vs. Club Brugge
FC Copenhagen's 4-0 rout of Club Brugge was an impressive showing from the Loverne, but Delaney stole the show. Goalkeeper Ludovic Butelle didn't even try to thwart the explosive left-footed effort, presumably to avoid injury.
2. Cenk Tosun vs. Benfica
Compensating for the absence of Zlatan Ibrahimovic's taekwondo-inspired athleticism was Tosun, who pinged a scissor kick past Benfica's Ederson Moraes in matchday five. It sparked a rally from Besiktas, coming back from a 3-0 half-time deficit to draw 3-3.
1. Mesut Ozil vs. Ludogorets Razgrad

Beautiful artistry by Ozil at Bulgarian minnow Ludogorets. The German scored Arsenal's winner on 87 minutes by lobbing Canadian shot-stopper Milan Borjan, sending two defenders to ground with a feint, and then simply tapping into a net emptied by his own individual brilliance.
Honourable mentions
Vadis Odjidja-Ofoe vs. Real Madrid
Alexis Sanchez vs. Ludogorets Razgrad
