The No. 10 shirt is an important one in football for a number of reasons, doubly so for Brazilian players; it is often awarded to the top player of each team, and in Brazil it is the number associated with the likes of Pele, Rivelino, Zico, Ronaldinho, and Kaka. For his part, Neymar currently wears No. 10 for the Brazilian national team.
At Barcelona, the No. 10 shirt became a symbol as both Ronaldinho and current holder Lionel Messi wore it to unprecedented glory. Indeed, that Neymar now dons the No. 10 shirt at PSG sends a clear message that he is the main man in the French capital.
