Lille - Leo Jardim, a 24-year-old Brazilian goalkeeper, has moved to Lille, the Ligue 1 club said on Saturday.
The former Brazilian under-20 international will cost close to €6 million, a source close to the deal told AFP.
Jardim was on loan from his first club Gremio to Rio Ave in Portugal.
The move is "a dream come true," Jardim told the Lille web site.
Jardim was a squad member when Gremio won the Copa Libertadores in 2017. He is likely to be backup to another 24-year-old, Mike Maignan, at Lille.
"Being part of a group that is going to play in the UEFA Champions League is very important to me," Jardim said.
