French midfielder Remy Cabella joins Krasnodar
Moscow - French international midfielder Remy Cabella has left Saint-Etienne to join FK Krasnodar, the Russian Premier League side announced on Thursday.
"The Bulls have completed an agreement with Saint-Etienne for the transfer of the midfielder," Krasnodar announced in a statement on its website.
"Every detail is approved. Caballa is going to come to our town and have a medical in the coming days."
Krasnodar, who face Porto in a Champions League preliminary at the start of August after qualifying for the first time, have announced neither the transfer fee nor the length of the contract.
The 29-year-old attacking midfielder, who has been capped four times for France, began his career at Montpellier before spending two years in the English Premier League with Newcastle.
He returned to France in 2015, playing for Marseille and then Saint-Etienne.
