Moise Kean could be handed a chance to revive his career at Paris Saint-Germain.

The Everton striker is poised to join the French champions on a season-long loan, according to BBC Sport's Phil McNulty. It's understood PSG will have an option to buy Kean at the end of his temporary spell.

The 20-year-old has struggled to make an impression in English football since his £27-million move from Juventus in August 2019. He made 33 appearances in his debut campaign for Everton, scoring just two goals.

Kean is currently behind Dominic Calvert-Lewin and Richarlison in the striking pecking order and has only been afforded one start - Everton's League Cup win over fourth-tier Salford City - this season. He scored against Salford and as a substitute in the following round's fixture at Fleetwood Town.

Kean was criticized by his club in April after he hosted a party during the United Kingdom's coronavirus lockdown. He was also dropped from the Everton squad last November after he reported late to two team meetings.

PSG are looking to strengthen their attacking options following the offseason departures of Edinson Cavani and Eric Maxim Choupo-Moting. The transfer window shuts on Oct. 5.
