Polish striker Buksa joins French side Lens
Lille, France, June 21, 2022 (AFP) - Polish international Adam Buksa became the first summer signing for Lens, the French Ligue 1 team announced Tuesday.
The 25-year-old striker, who has played nine times for Poland, has signed a five-year contract.
The 1.91-metre tall striker arrives from MLS side New England Revolution, where he netted 35 goals in 73 games.
"Adam was our priority in this area," Lens sports director Florent Ghisolfi said on the club's website.
"Adam will bring to the team his athletic presence and of course his strength in the air."
Lens finished seventh in Ligue 1 last season, missing out on European competition.
