After capturing their second consecutive Ligue 1 title, Paris Saint-Germain didn't wait long to reward manager Laurent Blanc.
The capital club announced Thursday, just one day after being confirmed as champions, that Blanc has signed a contract extension that will see him remain on the PSG touchline through June of 2016.
His existing deal was set to expire at the end of next season.
The Frenchman, in his first season at the helm of the free-spending club, also led the team to the quarterfinal stage of the Champions League, where they were eliminated at the hands of Chelsea.
