Report: Zlatan Ibrahimovic in danger of missing Paris Saint-Germain's next match
A knee injury could prevent Zlatan Ibrahimovic from making his season debut with Paris Saint-Germain.
The Swedish international has been unable to train with his teammates since suffering a right knee sprain. The sprain could see him miss a third straight match when PSG clashes with Montpellier on Friday, according to French publication Le Parisien.
Ibrahimovic sustained the injury during PSG's 2-0 Champions Trophy win over Lyon in Montreal just prior to the start of the Ligue 1 season.
His absence, however, has not impacted the team's performances - PSG has won its opening two matches.
Manager Laurent Blanc originally expected Ibrahimovic to be fit in time for Friday's fixture, but admitted to reporters before PSG's win over Gazelec Ajaccio that the striker was not completely healed.
The club will hope Ibrahimovic is ready for its match the following week, when PSG faces its toughest test in the early stages of the season against AS Monaco on Aug. 30.
