Zlatan Ibrahimovic books Main Square in Malmo for homecoming
Zlatan Ibrahimovic is determined to make his return to Malmo a memorable event after booking the Main Square in the city where his professional football career began.
Adding to the excitement of local residents in his hometown is the promise of further surprises for those interested in seeing Ibrahimovic and Paris Saint-Germain take on Malmo in the Champions League.
I previously said that the game will be heard all over Malmö. Now I've also made sure that all of Malmö will be able to watch the game. I've booked the Main Square where the game on Nov. 25 will be broadcast live. All are welcome! More surprises await that day.
I'm on my way ...
Ibrahimovic, who started his professional career with Malmo in 1999, previously stated before the group stage draw was announced that he would relish the opportunity to experience a Champions League match in the Swedish city.
"One day I hope to experience the Champions League in Malmo on the pitch, he said on Twitter.
The Swedish international got a chance to play against Malmo at the Parc des Princes on Tuesday during PSG's 2-0 victory and described the experience as "a dream come true."
