Paris Saint-Germain is anticipating four weeks of life without its Sideshow Bob lookalike, David Luiz.

In conversation with Le Parisien, Luiz's agent revealed that his client is expected to be out for almost a month after suffering an injury to his left knee during the first half of Brazil's 2-0 defeat to Chile in 2018 World Cup qualifying.

"The doctor of the Selecao reckons it'll be four weeks before David can return to training," Luiz's agent said, as translated by Ligue 1's official website.

Assuming the four-week timeline is accurate, Luiz, who has left Brazil's squad and returned to France where he will undergo further medical examinations, will miss five Ligue 1 fixtures and two Champions League clashes against Real Madrid.

At the international level, meanwhile, Brazil will be without Luiz for its World Cup qualifier against Venezuela at the Estadio Castelao on Tuesday.
