AS Monaco is set to sign forward Stephan El Shaarawy on a permanent basis, as the 22-year-old made his 15th appearance for the Ligue 1 club in the Europa League on Thursday.
El Shaarawy triggered a clause in his contract by playing in the 1-0 win over Qarabag - his 15th game for Monaco, Tuttosport reports. It must now buy out the player completely from AC Milan. He initially moved on a season-long loan deal this summer.

The Rossoneri will reportedly receive €15 million for the Italy international.
El Shaarawy, however, scored just twice so far for the principality.
